Transreality Simulations FAQs
Who are you?

We're Transreality Simulations, an Australian-registered company that's dedicated to bringing romantic adventure and anime-style games and related products to the wider Australian on-line market.

Transreality attempts to make the progression from mundane reality to the diverting and imagination inspiring worlds of virtual reality, as seamless as possible.

What sort of games are these?

This is a style of computer games called an Interactive Novel. The game proceeds in a series of scenes with dialogue, with the player making frequent decisions on behalf of the main character. The characters are depicted generally in 2D images. Games have occaisional CGI sequences and considerable animation.

Often the stories revolve around relationships with other characters, so the term dating-sim is sometimes applied to this style of game.

The game is typically supplied as a number of CD or DVD in a box set to be installed on your PC or played on a DVD player.

I have heard that Dating-Sims often contain material of a "hentai " (or perverted) nature. Do your games contain any adult-only material?

No. All games sold by Transreality Simulations have been classified by the Office of Film and Literature Classification for legal sale in Australia. These classifications are displayed in product descriptions on this site, and on the packaging in which the product is shipped. R-rated and higher rated games cannot be classified for legal sale in Australia. For more information about the classification categories please see the Australian government site: www.oflc.gov.au

What shipping methods do you offer?

We offer many types of shipping methods! For Australian customers Australian Post delivery by padded bag is the preferred method.

How are your products packaged?

All Interactive Novel games are supplied in the highest quality packaging, with a box set containing several several CD/DVD. These feature game art etc and are factory sealed.

Shipping packages are normally either plain padded mailers or Priority Mail packages, with no indication of the contents (although international orders do have a customs form attached.)

Please look carefully at the system requirements for the individual titles. The multi-play Anime DVD games can be viewed on Xbox and PS2 systems

How can I view the multi-play Anime DVD games?

Windows MediaPlayer or similar equipped with a DVD decoder patch can play these games. The games can also be viewed and played through multi-region DVD players. Some DVD players can be modified to run as multi-region players. In fact, the available games have worked through several Area 4 DVD player brands, so they should work in your DVD Player. These games also work on Xbox and PS2 platforms.

How does the Password work in Anime DVD games?

When you interrupt the game you will go to a password page. Record this password, or scroll through the letters to record the set. Then you can restart the game from a continuation point by entering the written down password.

My Ai Yori Aoshi CD does not install?

There is a glitch in the installation software of some copies of Ai Yori Aoshi that prevents the game being installed under some versions of Windows XP. A corrected version of the installer can be downloaded here:

I am having trouble getting through to the ending of this game!

Getting the final conclusion to these stories can sometimes require a certain amount of skill and perserverance. The best guide to success is to choose a particular character and always make choices in their favour.
